Individuals and organizations are able to use the Real Time Delphi system to perform studies of their own design. This can be arranged in several ways:
The organization or individual can enter into a contract for a single study. If a standard format is to be employed, the cost will be $5,000 which includes a day of consulting to facilitate the design process. The selection and invitations to participants are the responsibility of the sponsor, as well as the analysis of the data. Software tools are provided to facilitate the design and the analysis of the data. The Real Time Delphi servers are employed and additional consulting time is available.
The sponsor can enter into a licence agreement which permits unlimited use of the system on the sponsor's server or the Real Time Delphi servers. Licenses are generally for a one year period, include instruction in the design and set up of questionnaires and analysis of the data collected. As in the case of the first alternative, software tools are provided to facilitate the design and the analysis of the data and additional consulting time is available. The cost of a one year license is generally $35,000.
