Real Time Delphi Study

Collecting and Synthesizing Expert Opinions

Gender Stereotypes

Gender Stereotypes Around the World and Across Time

Please answer the questions in the form below. When you return please enter as a returning participant and use this email address: $email and this study code: images . This study is scheduled to close on 2017-12-31.

By pass introduction

This study is designed to collect judgments about stereotypes that might apply to women over time and in different cultures. A stereotype is a cultural construct, a mental idea, which has no scientific basis and can be either positive or negative, or true or false. As you will see, the questions about stereotypes in this study ask about beliefs in two dimensions: time (have the stereotypes been changing over time?) and culture (you will be answering about beliefs of your point of view).

You may omit any questions you wish and you do not have to complete this list of questions in one visit. You may submit your answers all at once or cell by cell.  To enter all your responses all at once, answer the questions you choose and then press SUBMIT THIS PAGE at the bottom of the page before leaving the questionnaire. Or you can submit your answers cell by cell; this takes longer- about 20 seconds per cell. Either way, you can go back to make changes; please consider the reasons given by others and add your own.

The numbers in parenthesis show the average answers of the group and the number of responses. The reasons button in each cell allows you to expand your answers and see what others have entered as reasons for their answers. When you return to the questionnaire you will see your previous answers and may add to them or change them if you wish. You may also see new stereotypes that have been suggested by the participants. You do not have to answer all of the questions- just skip any questions you wish.

The designers of this questionnaire wish to specifically acknowledge the contributions of Simone di Zio and Lara Fontan of University G. dAnnunzio, Pascara, Italy who ran an initial complementary study on stereotypes last year and Mara Maretti of University G. dAnnunzio, Chieti, Italy, as well as Marie-Anne Delahaut and Philippe Destatte of the Destree Institute and Millennia2015, and Ted Gordon, Elizabeth Florescu, and many other members of The Millennium Project.

Please plan to complete your input before

Please return to the questionnaire often. When you return please enter as a returning participant and use this email address: $email and this study code: images .
